رَّبِّ اَعُوۡذُ بِکَ مِنۡ ھَمَزٰتِ الشَّیٰطِیۡنِ ۙ واَعُوۡذُ بِکَ رَبِّ اَنۡ یَّحۡضُرُوۡن ؕ۔
بِسۡمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِۙ۔
Pillars of Islam.
Generally, Islamic scholars agree on five pillars of Islam. But in my opinion are seven Pillars of Islam. Which are absolutely proven from the Quran. The first four of them, namely pure faith, righteous deeds, worship (pray/Salaht) and zakat (alms) are the pillars, the message of which was also given by other prophets. And God says that these are the real pillars of religion. The believer who will include these four pillars in his life, God willing, will find a place in Paradise.
وَمَاۤ اُمِرُوۡۤا اِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مُخۡلِصِيۡنَ لَـهُ الدِّيۡنَ ۙ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيۡمُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَيُؤۡتُوا الزَّكٰوةَ وَذٰلِكَ دِيۡنُ الۡقَيِّمَةِ ؕ ﴿۵﴾
Q-98:05And they (the Prophet and the People of the Book) were commanded only to worship Allah, being sincere to Him, following His religion in a straight path, and to establish prayer and give zakah. And that is the right religion.
فَسَاَكۡتُبُهَا لِلَّذِيۡنَ يَتَّقُوۡنَ وَيُؤۡتُوۡنَ الزَّكٰوةَ وَالَّذِيۡنَ هُمۡ بِاٰيٰتِنَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ ۚ ﴿۱۵۶﴾
Q-07:156God writes down His mercy for those who fear Him, and give the poor-due, and believe in the verses of God.
While the fifth pillar is the Quran, the Quran is the tree without whose shade we cannot find the path to God. The sixth pillar is Ramadan, which is the best opportunity to accumulate good deeds in a person's life and send them forward. And the seventh pillar is Hajj to the House of Allah. That house of Allah! In which a person who sets foot finds peace in this world and the Hereafter.
1. Pure Faith (Only one God).
Faith in the One God and all His prophets and books, and in the unseen things (Angels and the Day of Judgment).
قُلۡ هُوَ الرَّحۡمٰنُ اٰمَنَّا بِهٖ وَعَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡنَاۚ فَسَتَعۡلَمُوۡنَ مَنۡ هُوَ فِىۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ ﴿۲۹﴾
Q-67:29Say: God is the Most Gracious, in Him we have believed and in Him we have put our trust. So, you will soon know who is in clear error.
قُلۡ اٰمَنَّا بِاللّٰهِ وَمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ عَلَيۡنَا وَمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ عَلٰٓى اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ وَ اِسۡمٰعِيۡلَ وَاِسۡحٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوۡبَ وَالۡاَسۡبَاطِ وَمَاۤ اُوۡتِىَ مُوۡسٰى وَ عِيۡسٰى وَالنَّبِيُّوۡنَ مِنۡ رَّبِّهِمۡؗ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيۡنَ اَحَدٍ مِّنۡهُمۡ ؗ وَنَحۡنُ لَهٗ مُسۡلِمُوۡنَ ﴿۸۴﴾
Q-02:136 & 03:84Say: We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and their Tribes, and what was given to Moses and Jesus, and what was given to the other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we submit.
2. Righteous action.
Live life according to God's law and also invite others to religion and counsel them with patience.
وَالۡعَصۡرِۙ ﴿۱﴾ اِنَّ الۡاِنۡسَانَ لَفِىۡ خُسۡرٍۙ ﴿۲﴾ اِلَّا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوۡا بِالۡحَقِّ ۙ وَتَوَاصَوۡا بِالصَّبۡرِ ﴿۳﴾
Q-103:01-03By the Asr (1) Indeed, man is in loss (2) Except for those who believe, do righteous deeds, advise one another to the truth, and advise one another to patience.
3. Pray (Salaht/Namaz).
To worship God, perform prayers at their appointed times.
اِنَّنِىۡۤ اَنَا اللّٰهُ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّاۤ اَنَا فَاعۡبُدۡنِىۡ ۙ وَاَقِمِ الصَّلٰوةَ لِذِكۡرِىۡ (۱۴)
Q-20:14Indeed, I am Allah, there is no god but Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance.
اِنَّ الصَّلٰوةَ كَانَتۡ عَلَى الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ كِتٰبًا مَّوۡقُوۡتًا ﴿۱۰۳﴾
Q-04:103Indeed, it is obligatory upon the believers to perform the prayers at their appointed times.
4. Zakat (Expenses).
Spend to help those in need for the best business with God.
اِنۡ تُقۡرِضُوا اللّٰهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنًا يُّضٰعِفۡهُ لَـكُمۡ وَيَغۡفِرۡ لَـكُمۡؕ وَاللّٰهُ شَكُوۡرٌ حَلِيۡمٌۙ ﴿۱۷﴾
Q-64:17If you lend to Allah a goodly loan, He will multiply it for you many times over and forgive you. And Allah is Appreciative, Forbearing.
مَثَلُ الَّذِيۡنَ يُنۡفِقُوۡنَ اَمۡوَالَهُمۡ فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ اَنۡۢبَتَتۡ سَبۡعَ سَنَابِلَ فِىۡ كُلِّ سُنۡۢبُلَةٍ مِّائَةُ حَبَّةٍؕ وَاللّٰهُ يُضٰعِفُ لِمَنۡ يَّشَآءُ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيۡمٌ ﴿۲۶۱﴾
Q-02:261The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like this grain of corn which grows seven ears, in each ear there are a hundred grains. Allah increases (their wealth) for whom He wills. He is the All-Encompassing, the All-Knowing.
5. Quran (The Holy Book).
Do not merely read the Quran, but seek the Lord's path from the Quran.
ذٰ لِكَ الۡڪِتٰبُ لَا رَيۡبَۛ ۚ فِيۡهِۛ ۚ هُدًى لِّلۡمُتَّقِيۡنَۙ ﴿۲﴾
Q-02:02This is the great Book, about which there is no doubt. It is a guidance for those who fear (Allah).
وَنَزَّلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ الۡـكِتٰبَ تِبۡيَانًا لِّـكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ وَّهُدًى وَّرَحۡمَةً وَّبُشۡرٰى لِلۡمُسۡلِمِيۡنَ ﴿۸۹﴾
Q-16:89And We have revealed to you (O Muhammad) that Book, in which is a clarification of everything, and a guidance, a mercy, and good news for the Muslims.
وَكَذٰلِكَ اَوۡحَيۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡكَ رُوۡحًا مِّنۡ اَمۡرِنَا ؕ مَا كُنۡتَ تَدۡرِىۡ مَا الۡكِتٰبُ وَلَا الۡاِيۡمَانُ وَلٰـكِنۡ جَعَلۡنٰهُ نُوۡرًا نَّهۡدِىۡ بِهٖ مَنۡ نَّشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ؕ وَاِنَّكَ لَتَهۡدِىۡۤ اِلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسۡتَقِيۡمٍۙ ﴿۵۲﴾
Q-42:52And likewise, we have revealed to you the Quran (revelation) through Gabriel (the Spirit) by Our command. Before this, you had no knowledge of the Book nor of faith, but We made this (Quran) a light. And through it We guide whomever We will among Our servants to the path of guidance. And indeed, you yourself guide toward the straight path.
6. Ramadan.
Whoever has the month of blessed Ramadan come in their life should not remain deprived of it.
يٰٓـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا كُتِبَ عَلَيۡکُمُ الصِّيَامُ کَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِکُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُوۡنَ ۙ (۱۸۳)
Q-02:183O you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become righteous.
7. Hajj E Baitullah.
Whoever has the means to reach the House of Allah, Hajj is obligatory upon him.
وَمَنۡ دَخَلَهٗ كَانَ اٰمِنًا ؕ وَلِلّٰهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الۡبَيۡتِ مَنِ اسۡتَطَاعَ اِلَيۡهِ سَبِيۡلًا ؕ ﴿۹۷﴾
Q-03:97And whoever enters this House, he is in security (in this world and the Hereafter). And pilgrimage to the House is obligatory for Allah upon those who are able to reach it.
